Which book should I start with?
Take the five-sentence check on this page. If most of them felt hard, start with Level 1 and go in order: words, then patterns, then stories. If they felt easy, start with Level 2.
Do I need Level 1 before Level 2?
Not if you already know the basics. Level 2 picks up where Level 1 leaves off, so if you learned the basics from a class, an app or another book, you can start there.
I can't read Hangeul yet. What should I do?
Start with Hangeul from ZERO, the video course that teaches you to read Korean from the very first letter. Then come back to Level 1.
