You can read Hangeul.
Now say something with it.
- Your complete next step after Hangeul — grammar, patterns, words and speaking, all in one course
- Introduce yourself, order at a café, tell the time
- Say what you did yesterday and what you’ll do tomorrow
Is this for you?
- You can read Hangeul but freeze when you try to say something of your own.
- You want something calm, structured and finishable — that gets you to full sentences.
- You love K-dramas or K-pop and want to say your first real sentences, not just hear them.
- You want a teacher and a clear plan you’ll actually finish.
- You’d rather finish ten modules than start ten courses.
- You want someone to actually hear you say it (Personal Feedback plan).
Reading Korean is step one. Saying your own sentences is next.
This is what a lesson looks like.
Me on one side, the lesson on the other — the same pages you have in your workbook.
Every new word comes with a picture.
You see it, hear it, and say it out loud with me.
One rule at a time.
예요 or 이에요? You’ll know exactly which one — and why.
Real words you’ll actually use.
Twelve words a lesson — food, places, jobs, things around you — so you can talk about your own life.
Then it’s your turn.
Pause the video, do the workbook page, then we check it together.
From 안녕하세요 to your own week.
You can read every letter. You can say hello.
- 저는 에밀리예요. 미국 사람이에요.I’m Emily. I’m American.M1
- 집에 고양이가 있어요.I have a cat at home.M2
- 매일 일곱 시에 일어나요.I get up at seven every day.M6
- 저는 커피를 안 마셔요. 녹차를 마셔요.I don’t drink coffee. I drink green tea.M8
- 어제 친구를 만났어요.Yesterday I met a friend.M9
- 내일은 한국어를 공부할 거예요.Tomorrow I’m going to study Korean.M10
Every line is built from the patterns in Modules 1–10 — about you, in your own words.
Video lessons + your workbook. Together.
The words and grammar patterns you need right after Hangeul — taught step by step, in one course. Every lesson has its own workbook pages — watch, then practice — build your sentences and say them out loud. Everything you need is right here.
One course. The whole next step after Hangeul.
Ten modules. The whole beginner stage after Hangeul — one step at a time.

Before you join.
What level is this for?
Beginner — right after Hangeul. You should be able to read Hangeul on your own, even slowly. You don't need to know any grammar yet. Everything is in polite speech — mostly the -요 form, plus the fixed polite expressions Koreans actually use (감사합니다, 반갑습니다). We focus on polite speech — the Korean you’ll use most with people you meet.
Do I need to read Hangeul first?
Yes — even slowly is fine. New to Hangeul? Start with Hangeul from ZERO first, and you'll get even more out of this course.
How is this different from your books?
The books are for reading on your own. Korean 102 teaches you the words and grammar patterns you need right after Hangeul — one step at a time, in the right order — and then you use them to make your own sentences and say them out loud. You don't need the books; everything is inside.
Will it ever be cheaper than this?
No. The launch price is the lowest Korean 102 will be. After launch, it goes up to $299.
When do the modules open?
Modules 1 and 2 open the moment you join. After that, a new module opens every week. The whole workbook arrives as one file with the last module.
What if I need to take a break?
Take all the time you need — everything is yours for life. Take a week off and pick it up when you're ready.
Can I learn on my own schedule?
Yes — every lesson is recorded, so you can watch anytime, pause, and replay as often as you like.
How much time does it take each week?
About 40 minutes a week — a short video, a few workbook pages, and sentences you make and say out loud. One module a week, and in about 10 weeks you’re making your own sentences. Some weeks are lighter, some a little heavier.
Who gives the feedback, and how long does it take?
A professional Korean teacher on the Korean Hailey team, not an app. You get back a video with your page on screen, marked up and talked through, within 5 business days.
Can I upgrade to Personal Feedback later?
Yes — write to me through the contact page and just pay the difference.
Refunds?
Modules 1 and 2 open the day you join, so you'll see exactly how the course works. If it's not the right fit, write to me through the contact page within 48 hours of joining (with no more than three lessons opened) for a full refund. Refunded accounts no longer have access to the course and its files.
Ten weeks from now, you’ll be talking about your own week.
In Korean. Out loud. In sentences you made yourself.

Someone actually hears you.
You can study alone for a year and never find out that one sound has been wrong the whole time. You can’t fix a mistake you don’t know you’re making.
- You send a photo of your page and a recording of you reading it out loud.
- It comes back as video feedback — your page on screen in your own handwriting, marked up; your recording played back; a professional Korean teacher talking you through it. Every second of it is about your Korean.
- Plus three lines in writing, so you can check them later without replaying anything.
- Back within 5 business days. No cohort, no queue, no waiting for a class to fill.
- Only your teacher sees it — nobody else in the course.
- Five rounds — at modules 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. Five videos of one-to-one teaching, made only for you.
It can’t hear you.
